Work with a knife


Form of the 'eight cutting edges'.


Stick. Refers usually to the two feet rattan stick used to pratice Eskrima. The names Olisi, Garote or Pamalo can also be encountered.



Thrusting Fingers. An attack mainly used to strike the throat or the eyes.

'Wing Arm'. Used to deflect a punch or acontrol of the wrist.

The Sticky Legs. Like the work of Chi Sao with the ands, it develops the sensitivity of the legs.

Block and hit crosswise. Disarming form.

Double sticks. Work with two sticks.


Lu Dim Boon Kwan, six and a half point pole. The work with this weapon is the first armed form of the Wing Shun system.

Strike with the side of the palm. Can be destructive if applied to the throat of a foe.

An hand technic essential in the Chi Sao, with Tan Sao.
It is mainly used to control the opponent arm or head. But it can also be used for short range attack with the back of the wrist.


Hand technique used to deflect attacks to the mid-section.

The Spinning Hand used to deflect short range attacks like punches to the ribs or uppercuts.
It can also be used to make palm attacks as seen in Siu Nim Tao.
